How SkyMap processes your personal data
These guidelines describe SkyMap's processing of your personal data and apply when you use SkyMap's services or are otherwise in contact with us.
Who is responsible for your personal data?
SkyMap Innovations AB or one of the group's companies is the personal data controller for the processing of your personal data and is responsible for such processing taking place in a legal manner.
How does SkyMap get your personal data?
SkyMap collects personal data about you, for example, when you: register to use the SkyMap Portal, fill in a notification of interest for one of SkyMap's product offerings, when you participate in various sales activities, fairs and events, when you contact our customer service or otherwise fill in information that forms a basis for future agreements or for us to be able to fulfill our obligations towards you.
What data is processed?
SkyMap processes the personal data provided to us. It can be name, e-mail address, telephone number, postal address, date of birth, and/or other information that you have provided to us or that is otherwise necessary for us to be able to fulfill our obligations towards you.
Why does SkyMap process data about you?
SkyMap processes your personal data for various purposes. Mainly to fulfill our commitments to you, to provide good service and well-functioning, efficient and simple services. Furthermore, your personal data is processed for warranty commitments, for customer and supplier surveys in order to give you the opportunity to influence our offers and services, to send marketing offers about SkyMap's upcoming product launches, news and other offers. When establishing an agreement, SkyMap may request a credit report in order to assess your creditworthiness.
When does SkyMap Innovations AB have the right to process your personal data?
In order for SkyMap to process your data, there must be support in the current data protection regulation, a so-called legal basis. This means that for our processing to be legal, it must be necessary to fulfill a contract with you or necessary to fulfill a legal obligation. Processing of data can also be based on balance of interests. In some cases, SkyMap may need your consent to process your personal data. Who has access to your personal data?
Your personal data is used by SkyMap and SkyMap's personal data assistants. We do not disclose personal data to other companies unless we have to do so due to law, regulation, authority decision or to protect our rights or the rights of third parties. We never forward, sell or exchange your personal data for marketing purposes to third parties outside the SkyMap Group. Information is forwarded to third parties only if this is required to fulfill the contract entered into or if there are requirements in law or regulation.

SkyMap protects your privacy. SkyMap is therefore constantly working to take all appropriate technical and organizational measures that are required in each individual case to protect your personal data and otherwise ensure that the processing takes place in accordance with applicable law. How long are your data saved? SkyMap saves your data as long as it is necessary with regard to the purposes for which we collected it or if other law requires it.
What rights do you have?
You have the right to receive free information about which personal data we process about you, a so-called register extract. If your data is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant, you can request to have it corrected. In some cases, you also have the right to the deletion of personal data. This applies, for example, if the information is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, if you withdraw your consent and no other legal basis is applicable or if the information has been processed in an illegal manner. SkyMap cannot delete certain personal data where there is a statutory requirement for storage, such as accounting rules, or when there are other legitimate reasons why the data must be saved. You can object at any time to direct marketing and other processing based on balancing of interests. You must then specify which treatment you object to. If we believe that such treatment should still take place, we must show that there are interests that weigh more heavily. If you wish to exercise any of your rights, please send us a letter at the address below. The letter must be signed and contain a copy of an ID document. We need this to ensure that we release the data to the right person. The answer will be sent to the address where you are registered.
