MAKE IT EASY TO CONVERT YOUR DRONE IMAGES

There are many advanced software for converting drone images. We decided to keep it simple instead. No expensive and advanced software. No special settings that require hours to get used to. No local installation that requires a powerful and expensive computer but still blocks the computer while the process is in progress. And no problem to either store or share the heavy data generated by the drone images. Simply; simple and useful.

"The market's smoothest conversion of drone images into a georeferenced digital twin"

Fast, simple and flexible
With SkyMap's cloud processing you avoid the problems. When the drone flight is complete, you upload the images to us. Send with a GCP file (Ground Controll Points) with measured coordinates to be able to georeference. In the next step, a GCP adjustment (so-called flag move) is made where the images and GCP are matched. GCP tuning doesn't take long, but if you want to save even more time, our specialists can do it for you.

Once the GCP tuning is done, the cloud processing starts. It is pretty fast, don´t go far. The advantage is that the entire process takes place in the cloud, so you can continue to work on other things in peace and quiet for as long as possible without your computer being blocked by the image processing.

Results
Through cloud processing, orthophotos, point clouds and 3D models can be generated. You choose which package you want before starting the process. When the cloud processing is complete, you can visualize the result in SkyView or download the data in common standardized file formats for further processing in other programs.

High accuracy
SkyMap was born out of the measurement technology industry and we understand the importance of the result being both measurable and accurate in order to be useful. The more accurate measuring points (GCP) you have, the more accurate the result. You can check the accuracy yourself directly in the system when performing the GCP adjustment. Of course, the choice of drone equipment, flight method, the nature of the area and more also play an important role. Our rule of thumb is that a drone scan should have an accuracy of +/- 30 mm if it is done correctly. This means that the accuracy corresponds to a regular GNSS rod.

Pay for what you use
Our standard packages for cloud processing is highly cost efficient. Cloud processing is always billed afterwards based on usage.
